Online Applications Open for MPT-Qualified Candidates
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has officially opened applications for the CSS Competitive Examination 2026 (CE-2026). Only candidates who have qualified the MPT (MCQ-Based Preliminary Test) 2026 are eligible to apply for the written examination.
This is the most prestigious exam in Pakistan for joining the Civil Services of Pakistan, and thousands of graduates compete every year.
⭐ 1. Call for Applications
FPSC has invited applications for the written part of CSS CE-2026 with the following instructions:
- Applications must be submitted online before 22nd December 2025.
- The exam will follow the CSS Rules 2019, without any exceptions.
- The written exam is expected to begin on 4th February 2026 (Wednesday).
- The exam will be held across 19 major cities of Pakistan.
⭐ 2. Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates who meet the following requirements can apply:
✔ MPT Qualification
- Only MPT CE-2026 qualified candidates may submit the CSS written application.
✔ Education
- Must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree (second division) from a recognized university.
✔ Age Limit
- Age must be between 21 and 30 years on the cutoff date.
- Two-year age relaxation is allowed for groups permitted under Rule 6.
- Age and eligibility will be checked as of 31st December 2025.
⚠ Important:
Candidates are provisionally admitted, but if found ineligible at any stage, the application will be cancelled regardless of exam performance.

⭐ 3. How to Apply for CSS CE-2026
Only MPT-qualified candidates can apply using their MPT login credentials.
✔ Step-by-Step Process
- Visit: https://www.fpsc.gov.pk
- Log in using your existing MPT login/password
- Update your profile carefully
- Generate your 16-digit PSID
- Pay the online exam fee: Rs. 2,200 (must be paid before 22 Dec 2025)
💳 Fee Payment Options
You can pay the fee through:
- ATMs
- Mobile banking apps (JazzCash, Easypaisa, etc.)
- Internet banking
- Over-the-counter 1-Link member bank
Challan, TR-6, bank draft, or money order are not accepted.
✔ After Fee Payment
- Log in again at fpsc.gov.pk
- Complete the remaining application steps
- Select optional subjects, occupational groups, and exam center
- Submit your application
After submission, check the ‘Application History’ tab to verify acceptance.
📄 Documents Submission
A signed hard copy of the online application with:
- CNIC copy
- Domicile
- Educational certificates
- Four photographs
must reach FPSC before 1st January 2026.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
⭐ 4. Exam Admission Certificates
- FPSC will upload the roll number slips on its website by 15th January 2026.
- Candidates must download them themselves.
- No roll number slips will be sent by post.
