WA’s energy minister rejects electricity market free-for-all to curb soaring power costs
WA’s energy minister has been accused of curbing his support for more competition in the electricity market in a bid to appease unions.
Ben Wyatt has softened on plans to end the monopoly of the state’s major electricity supplier Synergy, however has continued to support an open market for regional supply in WA’s north.
