LAHORE: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) Mujahid Pervaiz Chattha said on Wednesday that power supply to 80 villages had been ensured through effective transmission system within a short period of one month.

He said all the field formations were on their toes to ensure smooth power supply through a strong transmission system in line with the principles of sustainable and quality customer services.

He was presiding over a meeting of reviewing monthly performance of construction operation at the LESCO headquarters. Programme Director Ahmed Fawad briefed him about the Prime Minister’s Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). He said 80 villages of district Okara, Kasur and Sheikhupura were ensured smooth supply of electricity through an effective transmission system.
